Tons of fun!Jan 15, 2009
By Lindsey Stock Shortly before Christmas, my 9 year old son discoverd my old tangrams in a box at my mother's house. Although he was fascinated and entertained I wanted to get something more modern and colorful. I found this and purchased it for a stocking stuffer. Not only was he impressed, but my two year old and myself were as well. Nice quality, and stores well.

Tantagrams with a Twist...Mar 18, 2010
By delicateflower152 If you are familiar with Tantagrams, then you will find ThinkFun Scrambled Egg is a similar product. As with Tantagrams, one uses different sized and shaped pieces to assemble a pattern provided with the product. However, it is more fun than Tantagrams in that the pieces are different colors and the designs are much more appealing because of that variation. Children will be more drawn to Scrambled Egg because many of the shapes that are to be created are familiar items or animals.
Scrambled Egg is a real find for puzzle lovers, persons who are visual learners, or those who are gifted when it comes to spatial challenges. Architects, engineers, and pilots seem particularly adept when it comes to solving Scrambled Egg's pattern recognition and assembly challenge. Individuals who sew or design clothing and woodworkers are others who seem to find this puzzle fun and enjoy the challenge of solving its patterns. Age is irrelevant when it comes to enjoying this item. Children as young as three or four, with supervision, can have fun trying to assemble the shapes. Further, children can gain a feeling of accomplishment, particularly if they are able to complete a design before the adult can do so.
However, if you or your child has trouble visualizing physical concepts or seeing patterns, you may want to avoid this product. Both, you and your child will become frustrated and will not have fun playing with Scrambled Egg.

Difficult, but very educationalDec 30, 2009
By Marie I think this game is very educational and fun; however, my husband and I find it difficult so it definitely isn't for a young child.
