My son played with it for a half a day and never touched it again. It was too easy for him. He's 2yrs old. He didn't like to mix and match them either and it would just confuse him to do that. Eventually, all the pieces went missing and my little one likes to chew on them. It's pretty good quality given my younger (1yr old) chews on them and nothing fall apart. lol.

Eight animals, each divided in half horizontally (top & bottom), equaling sixteen pieces. Puzzles are 4" x 4" when assembled. Thick foam puzzle pieces with nice texture. Everything comes in a plastic bag, and a sturdy blue plastic storage tray is also included for all the pieces to fit into.
Bright colors mean great fun for youngsters to mix & match: cow/pig, dog/duck, etc.
Please note that this is way too much of a baby toy for a 4-year-old, not to mention a 7-year-old. (Those are the recommended age ranges on the Amazon listings.)
