My box has the following letter count printed on it: A-3 B-2 C-2 D-2 E-3 F-2 G-2 H-2 I-3 J-1 K-1 L-2 M-2 N-2 O-3 P-2 Q-1 R-2 S-3 T-3 U-2 V-1 W-2 X-1 Z-1 (There is no "Y" printed on the box, but mine contained 2). The letters are 5" tall. (The Amazon description says they are 14.5", perhaps they mean to advertise as 4.5".) My "four yards of ribbon" was cut into three pieces. The letters are made from reasonably sturdy cardboard.
I intend to use and reuse this to make banners for different occations like "Happy Birthday" or a baby shower. When my daughter is older maybe I will let her play with it! I could see how this would be a good toy to reinforce basic spelling, sewing, and planning skills. Plus it is kind of fun and crafty.
I paid a very good price for this at a discount store. I am happy with it. I don't think I would pay full price though personally. Have fun.
